In the month of august 2022, we sent our representative to Awing. They went to offer help to the under privileged, vulnerable, orphans, and street children. On behalf of the institution, Mboh Janet community worker in Awing walked around carrying out registration in the village, mobilizing the children. It took her two weeks to register the children. This was because; she had to follow the criteria for selection, so it took her some time to come out with the list.

After the selection the institution came out with a day when they will bring the items to give to this under privileged. Mboh Janet communing y worker was again given the task to work around the village and inform the selected children. The items to be shared were books, pencils, pens, rulers and school bags for the children. These kinds of items were bought because schools were resuming and the vulnerable children never had the opportunity to purchase these items for themselves because of lack of finances. And so HOFEH board members decided to put smiles on the children’s faces with these items. When they arrived awing, the children came out in their numbers to welcome them. They sang songs of joy. The children gave us a warm welcome and we were happy to carry out the humanitarian work.

After the items were distributed, we left the village and went to bamenda were the office is situated.
