In the month of October 2022, HOFEH as an institution with the mission to give hope to the hopeless like education and health for the under privilege carried out another activities to help the under privileged so as to make the children happy. We carried out registration. This registration was to select children that the institution will help to pay their school fee.

The focal person and social worker went out for work. This registration took place in bamenda were the head office of FOTEH Cameroon is situated. This is because bamenda is a big city in Cameroon. So we started with two communities. The communities were Meta quarters and azire.

The focal person and social worker went out to these two communities to carry out registration. The two quarter heads were contacted. This is because the quarter heads know their communities better than us. So the quarter heads gave us directives on how to carry out our activities without barriers. The registration took one week. We discovered that they were many children who were not going to school because they never had school fees. So they were sitting at home while their age mates go to school. We discovered that these children could barely feed, so HOFEH registered them and immediately the registration was done the vice president and secretary moved across the road to select some schools that were closer to their houses so that their school fees could be paid. Another reason was that schools beside the house were chosen in order to avoid payment of transport.

The school fees were paid immediately these chosen schools were selected and the children were very happy. We were also happy because at least we  have put smiles on the children’s faces.
