The next activity of HOFEH was food distribution. While trying to carry out the other activities we realized that people were suffering because they could barely feed themselves. HOFEH also discovered from the report of other activities carried out in bamenda town that many children were malnourished and they needed food in order to recover from malnourishment.

We went out again for another registration. This time, the registration took one month. This was because the people suffering were too many so to select the people to benefit from the food was a bit difficult, since our budget was not really much. One of the criteria we used for selection was the size of the family that is the amount of people at home will determine the amount of food each person will take home.

A bay was set and the people were called to come and take their food. The food was rice, groundnut oil and savon to wash their dresses. We also called on the adolescent mothers to come and take food too. The organization also provided them with transport to go back home. The social worker also gave them some psychological counseling and educational talks on how to start small businesses for themselves.

Every one left happy and they thanked the organization for all their efforts to help them. We were also happy we put smiles on their faces.
